A Little About Us
The Revenue Society was originally formed in 1990 to promote the research and display of revenue stamps and associated documents The Society currently has over 350 members from 40 countries.
The Revenue Journal is published every 3 months and is available to all members free of charge. The Journal is a repository for detailed information about the area of study worldwide.
Members are encouraged to exhibit their collections at regular meetings in London as well as at national and international philatelic exhibitions.
This whole site is only available to fully paid up members by signing in with username & password, however non members can access Library, Lists, Journal Index, Lists of Catalogues, Displays Lists etc
You can join the Society for as little as £10. Paper copies of the Journal, auction catalogue are available at an extra cost – see membership application for details.

David Springbett
Dear fellow members David Springbett’s family have expressed their grateful thanks for the numerous messages of condolence from members of the Revenue Society following David’s death on 22nd December. David will be cremated in a private funeral service attended by his family only, but a memorial service will be held some time later this year. I will share the details of this in due course since I am sure that many of our members will want to attend to pay their respects in person. A number of people have written to me with their own personal memories or stories about David, which I hope to collate as a Society tribute for publication in The Revenue Journal.
